Yes, of course, you can display and type English, German, French, Japanese, Italian, Arabic and Chinese plus a score more “common” languages on your Mac. Believe it or not, you can also display and type Klingon, the language of a warrior race from the Star Trek universe.
To get ready to use language on your Mac, go to System Preferences > Language & Region and, under the “Preferred Languages” box, click the “+” (plus) button. Then scroll down, until you find “tlhlngan Hol” (Klingon).
Just select and then click add. Your Mac will ask if you want to use Klingon or English as the primary language.
You will need some native fonts and perhaps you’d also like to Learn Klingon ($19.16, Prime)?
Unfortunately, the Klingon keyboard apparently isn’t available anymore, not even on eBay.
Nevertheless, you son of a targ, Shakespeare is better in the original Klingon and now you can write your own opus to Kahless in the mother tongue…
Fun stuff!
